What goes in the kit

Every traveller’s kit differs, but most departure bundles include the following physical components assembled during a Travel Kit Assembly session.

Wallet or pouch

We test fit with wallets you already own before recommending a purchase. Bi-fold wallets suit travellers who carry the kit in an inner jacket pocket. Zip pouches work for belt carry during market days. Families often use a shared pouch for children’s daily envelopes plus individual slim wallets for each child.

Colour-coded envelopes

Six standard sleeves: transit (grey), lodging (blue), daily (green), activities (amber), gifts (rose), emergency (red, sealed). Labels are written in waterproof ink with city and date range. Bilingual labels available on request.

A5 log book

Pre-printed columns match your itinerary structure — per day, per city, or per week. Carbon-copy pages optional for corporate travellers submitting expense evidence.

Archival pen

A fine-tip pen that writes on damp paper and does not smear when closed inside the wallet.

Assembly process

1. Review your reserve separation plan if you have one
2. Select wallet layout and envelope count
3. Label and load envelopes with planned opening order
4. Walk through a five-minute logging drill at the office

Companion app pairing

The companion app records envelope balances offline during your trip. It mirrors the paper log structure — one screen per reserve category. We demonstrate pairing during kit assembly. The app supplements your paper log; we still recommend written records as the primary source during travel.
